Mitis River
The Mitis-1 Power Dam has a total output of 6,4MW through its two turbine-generator groupes. It is located in the Price municipality, near Mont-Joli in eastern Quebec.
During 11 days, smolts obtained from a fish farm were injected into turbine #2 at the Mitis Dam. Survival rates were derived from the results of the study. A total of 444 fish were tagged for this project.
